READ THIS

The title of my book is The DaVinci Code, by Dan Brown. I decided to read this book because many different people said the book was good and overall it had a good reputation. THe book takes place in France, and for a little while in England, in modern times. The Da Vinci Code is suspensful and actually very religious, while the tone is mysterious, kind of like someone slowly pulling up a curtain in front of something you really want to see. Most of the time the book kept me exited and made me think a lot. The main character's name is Robert Langdon, but Sophie Neveu is very important too. I don't have much in common with either of them, but I have more in common with Sophie, besides being an American like Langdon. Sophie and I both like to solve puzzles, and, of course, we are both girls. Sophie never wants to give up and is caring, like me. Most of the characters in this book are adults, so I dont have that much in common with them. I would like to switch places with Sophie,because of all the codes she gets to figure out and the adventures she has, but on the other hand, some people are trying to kill her. Well, I do live in the world this book is set in, and I'm glad I do, there are so many cool places to go and see. If Robert Langdon lived in our house...I wouldn't know what to do. It would be very awkward at first, but after a while, he would seem kind of like a cousin, brother, or uncle. I would recommend others to read this book because it is very descriptive and a good mystery novel. THe book does have some bad parts...and when they have a discussion about religon it gets kind of boring. I would rank this book an 8.
